Two films are challenging ‘Baahubali 2’. One is Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ for it’s opening day collections and the other one is Salman Khan’s sports drama ‘Sultan’ for its first weekend collections. To beat ‘Kabali’, Rajamouli’s Baahubali-2 has to collect a whopping Rs.48 crore plus on the opening day.

To break the record of ‘Sultan’, this Prabhas’ starrer must collect Rs.180.36 crores plus in the first weekend. Here ‘Sultan’ had an advantage getting a 5-day weekend. Whereas, Baahubali2 will get the only 3-day weekend when it hits theatres on 28th April 2017.

Given to the craze and hype building around Rajamouli’s Baahubali-2, crushing old records and creating new records isn’t an impossible task. There is every scope that Baahubali-2 might set new bench marks for the forthcoming movies.
