Can KGF 2 Beat Baahubali 2’s Hindi Record?

Thanks to the platform laid by KGF 1, the second installment from the franchise, KGF 2 looks set to post excellent revenues in the Hindi belt on its opening day. KGF 2 is certain to breeze past RRR’s opening day tally(Rs 19+ crores).

As per early estimates, KGF 2 might be minting in the range of Rs 30+ crores nett in the Hindi belt on its opening day. But the question now is – Can KGF 2 beat Baahubali 2‘s opening day record in the Hindi belt (Rs 41 crores nett)?

Beating Baahubali 2’s tally might not be the easiest of tasks, especially so, given the post-Covid situation. Even if KGF 2 sets a Rs 30+ crores opening, it would be a truly sensational feat.

KGF 2 is set to post excellent revenues in the mass pockets across the Hindi circuit which will prove to be an added advantage for the film. The obvious advantage KGF 2 has over RRR is the platform set by the first part. But whether or not it can beat Baahubali 2 will be answered in a week from now.

But as far as worldwide opening day gross goes, KGF 2 might not even be remotely close to RRR as the latter posted all-time records in the USA and the Telugu states.
