Senior star Nagarjuna Akkineni is experiencing a rough phase compared to his peers.
His recent films have been more alarming than exciting, disappointing both him and his fans. The box office results have been equally disheartening.
Now, Nag is gearing up for “Naa Saami Ranga,” and the promotional material released so far looks decent. The first melody song and Allari Naresh’s glimpse appear promising.
The advantage lies in having no expectations.
However, the film being a remake of the popular Malayalam movie “Porinju Mariam Jose” might hinder its appeal, especially to the Telugu youth already watched the original.
It’s interesting to see if Nagarjuna can stage a comeback with a remake, a bold move in the era of apprehensions about remakes in the OTT space.
Nag is keen to release the film for Sankranthi, considering the advantage of the best season, despite the tough competition it will face from others.
