One factor that could well work in the favor of the movie Auto Nagar Surya is the leading lady of the film, Samantha. To date, Samantha has done eleven films in Tollywood including Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu, a dubbed movie and her success record is staggering. Seven out of the ten movies, discounting the dubbed movie, have gone on to become blockbusters.
Her latest movie, Manam is still going strong at the box-office and Samantha’s performance in dual roles in the movie has come in for a high appreciation from one and all. Against this backdrop, Autonagar Surya in which she is paired opposite Naga Chaitanya for the third time in her career would mark a hat-trick for the pair if the movie emerges successful.
While the ability of Naga Chaitanya to carry a film on his shoulders as a solo hero would be put to the test with Autonagar Surya, it is undoubtedly the presence of Samantha in the movie that can ironically give the career of Naga Chaitanya, a much- needed reprieve as a solo hero.
