Case On Superstar For Casteist Comment!

Being a superstar is a tough task. They are expected to be morally right off screen. Smallest of mishaps can have snowball effects. The same has happened with Kannada suoerstar Upendra now.

A case has been registered against Upendra for allegedly defaming SC community.

Going into the story, Upendra took part in Prajakeeya anniversary celebration on social media. This was a virtual event. Upendra went on Instagram and Facebook live.

In this interaction, Upendra compared his competitors to a minority community in the state. He even said proverbs about the same. This angered the Dalit community and they opined Upendra hurt their feelings. This has now become a hot topic on social media.

The Dalit community is angered by Upendra’s comments on social media and they’ve filed a police case against the star hero now.

South Bangalore police have started the investigation and Upendra could be in for some legal action if found guilty in the case.
