Case on Telugu girl in Producer’s Guild

It seems to be the season of controversies in Kollywood. After the controversy on Vishal for his comments on Nadigar Sangam, it is the Telugu girl Sri Divya who has landed in a controversy. After the success of ‘Vaarutha Paadatha Vaalibar Sangam’ ( remade as Current Teega in Telugu), she has become one of the busiest heroine for the small and medium budget films.

Some producers who are doing films with her at present had reported to the producer’s guild that Sri Divya has hiked her remuneration and hence not cooperating with them to complete the films. With her latest hit film with Jeeva her demands for pay hike have surfaced. She has agreed to do ‘Kaattuvalli’ and ‘Nagarapuram’ even before the films which are on sets at present. But isn’t giving call sheets for the above said films.

Giving reply to the above allegations, Sri Divya said that these allegations are untrue and she is very much interested in completing the films. But the producers have been delaying the films since 2 years and hence her call sheets problems has arised. The producers haven’t intimated her the same before. We have to wait and see how the Producer’s Guild reacts to the arguments of both parties.
