Censor Board Asks To Change Heroine’s Dress?

There has been a whole lot of controversy surrounding the Besharam song from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan that was released recently.

The primary argument from a section of netizens has been that Deepika wears a ‘sacred’ saffron coloured bikini and puts on a glamour show. They argue that using this sacred coloured outfit for skin show and dancing alongside a senior hero like SRK isn’t acceptable. This has been the talk of the town on social media.

Now, the Censor Board itself has gotten involved with the whole fiasco and stated to take action. The Censor Board has asked the makers to implement changes to the film and the songs in particular.

Not often does the censor board get involved with a film controversy even before its release and more so, pertaining to a heroine’s dress. This really is a senatorial development.

Now that the Censor Board has instructed the makers to change the song, we can expect a fair bit of evasive action from them.
