Censor Corruption by Telugu Biggies

Everyone knows that it’s very important to get the clearance of the Censor Board before a movie’s release. What if our Telugu Biggies are resorting to bribing the small filmmakers and using influence at the Central Board in Mumbai?

According to a report in DCd, big producers in Telugu are bribing the smaller ones. The reason is the change in the rules for submitting a film for certification. Every movie has to apply online, one month before its release. Then, the films will be certified in the order of their application.

But, many big movies make haste at the last minute. So, to avoid the small filmmakers who are already in the line to certify their movies, they are said to be bribed according to the report in DC. If not, even they are using their influence to make the Central Board in Mumbai intervene in such matters.

This is a new development which shows that corruption is prevailing everywhere, in every walk of life, including films. Sadly, most of our films raise their voice against corruption. But in real life, those individuals choose to bribe, if necessary.
