Naidu takes a tough call selecting nameless

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu finalized and announced the three MLC candidates of the party in MLAs Quota. The announcement came as a surprise as two of the candidates have emerged out of no where. VVV Chowdary who works in the Party office is already an expected candidate.

Two other candidates Thippeswamy and Gummadi Sandhya Rani totally came as a surprise pushing popular names like Beda Ravichand. Chandrababu seem to have taken care of social and regional calculations in this selection – VVV Chowdary (OC and Godavari districts), Gummadi Sandhya Rani (ST and Uttarandhra) and Thippeswamy (BC and Rayalaseema).

It is known that Five MLCs seats under MLAs Quota will be going to election. The ruling Telugu Desam Party is confirmed to get three seats out of the total five. There was an intense competition for these berths from the leaders who worked for the party even in opposition. But the names finalized were totally on unexpected lines.
