Charmi to High Court over Drug Case

Telangana Excise Enforcement Department had issued notices to actress Charmi to appear before them on 26th of this month for the alleged use of drugs and connections with Drugs Peddling Mafia. SIT officials offered her to interrogate at the place of her choice since she is a woman.

Charmi however offered to come to the SIT office in Nampally. Charmi approached Hyderabad High Court alleging that collecting Blood Samples, Hair and nails of the accused forcibly amounts to infringing their fundamental rights.

She also requested the court to allow her lawyer with her during the questioning since SIT is not allowing anyone with the accused. SIT so far questioned Puri Jagannadh, Sham K Naidu, Subba Raju, Tarun and are questioning Navdeep today.
