Cheating case on Bandla Ganesh ahead of GAV release

The matter came very late into light because allegedly the police tried for settlement of the matter without filing an FIR. Going into the details, a distributer by name Rama Krishna gave an advance amount of Rs.80 lakhs to Bandla Ganesh in 2011 on agreement that Bandla would give the distributor the distribution tights of Gabbar Singh in Guntur region. But Bandla sold the rights to somebody else and since then had been evading Rama Krishna and his plea to return the advance money.

Vexed, the distributor approached police and filed a cheating case complaint on Bandla Ganesh alleging him for cheating and threatening using the name of Mumbai Mafia. Police initially tried to reach out for the producer for his version of the story but they couldn’t trace him. Fearing controversy for not filing an FIR for three days, finally they had put up an FIR on Bandla. Just a few hours ahead of GAV’s release, this issue is tickling curiosity among film circles.
