Trailer Talk: Grand Visuals And Nothing Else

A Mani Ratnam films always guarantee two things, grand visuals and cool music accompanying it. Both can be seen in the trailer of Cheliya. But, the more important thing, content seems to be missing here.

The set up is established along with gorgeous visuals but apart from that as far as the story is concerned or even the acting bits seen in the trailer, there is nothing new from the master story teller. There is a fresh backdrop and that seems to be the only selling point here. We surely hope for all the efforts put in by the maker there is more to the cinema than the expectations the trailer generates.

Check out the trailer below. Cheliya is presented by Dil Raju in Telugu. It stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead and is slated to release worldwide in Telugu and Tamil on April 7th.
