Trailer Talk: Correcting The Mistakes Of First

Very rarely do we get a second trailer for a right reason. More often than not it is based on the response for the first trailer that is out, and it is mostly in corrective nature. Trailer of Cheliya is a classic example.

The first theatrical trailer released a few days ago has been met with a collective negative response. The content and Karthi’s performance including getup was under the scanner. With this negative feedback in mind, a new trailer cut which is far better than the first one is out. Karthi and content, are shown in a better manner with the music and visuals taking a back seat.

Check out the new trailer below. Audio of Tamil version is released already. Telugu version will get released tomorrow. Cheliya along with its Tamil counterpart arrives in cinemas on April 7.
