Cheque bounce case on top director’s father

The Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate’s Court at Elamanchili on Friday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Tollywood top director Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who is also a director and noted screen writer.

The cheque bounce case has been reportedly filed by film producer and YSRCP leader Chengala Venkata Rao. The producer, who is a former MLA gave the money to Rajamouli’s father to work a script few years ago for NTR’s Narasimhudu movie but Vijayendra Prasad failed to submit the desired script to the producer which made him sought for the repayment of the amount.

Vijayendra Prasad had given two cheques to the producer for the repayment, however, cheques bounced at the bank. When Rajamouli’s father did not respond to the notices, the court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him.
