Acharya Seals A Deal Before Resumption

After a COVID-induced break of around seven months, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya will resume from Monday. The team has planned a one-month long schedule in Hyderabad in which the majority of the talkie part will be completed.

Days before the resumption, the team also completed the Satellite Rights deal of the film. Leading Entertainment Channel, Gemini TV bagged the Satellite Rights of the film for a fancy amount. Gemini TV previously bagged Sye Raa Satellite Rights as well. Chiranjeevi, back then, committed to giving Acharya rights to the same channel.

Acharya was supposed to release in August 2020 but it has been postponed indefinitely. With this start, the movie is likely to be in the race for the Summer 2021 release. The movie just completed a 30-40% shoot before the Lockdown.

Kajal Agarwal is the female lead in this movie. It is likely to be her first shooting assignment after her marriage last month. She previously romanced Chiranjeevi in Khaidhi No 150. She will join the team in this schedule. Acharya will have a cameo by Ram Charan. With RRR also resuming the shoot, it has to be seen how his dates will be sorted.
