The last true Industry Pedda for Tollywood was Dasari Narayana Rao. He excelled at solving financial disputes and other monetary issues. His expert handling made him a go-to man for many in the industry.
But this is where Chiru is lacking. He had the opportunity to do the same with the ongoing Liger business settling fiasco where Puri filed a police complaint on distributors saying they’re threatening him. This has turned into an ugly brawl with the lack of mediating force.
But for that to happen, Chiru had to actively settle Acharya financial disputes. He let Koratala Siva handle the whole scenario. Chiru later said he returned a part of his remuneration to compensate for the losses but he wasn’t on the foreground, settling the whole fiasco.
So now, Chiru is left with no scope to settle Liger issue. Hence, he has missed a great opportunity to become the Industry Pedda.
