Chiranjeevi’s Rejected Script Turns Blockbuster

Megastar Chiranjeevi has been blowing hot and cold of late. He has been following up his box office hits with disasters. His most recent film Bholaa Shankar is one of the biggest loss ventures of all time.

Coming to the topic, a script rejected by Chiranjeevi has become an international blockbuster and here is a look into the same.

Veteran producer Ashwini Dutt has revealed that he took Raj and DK of Family Man fame to Chiranjeevi. “Raj and DK first narrated Family Man script as a feature film to Chiranjeevi. This was right after Khaidi 150. He didn’t want to follow up a commercial hit with a film like Family Man. He felt it wouldn’t blend in his commercial aspirations. It was an unfortunate miss”.

It is evident that Chiranjeevi has turned down Family Man script with his commercial cinema aspirations in mind. Who knows what could’ve happened if he actually did the film. The script and narration style of Raj and DK is so very successful that Family Man is the biggest OTT hit in India.

Rajini did a new-age subject like Jailer and Kamal Haasan did Vikram, both of which were blockbusters. Had Chiru done something pathbreaking like Family Man, things could’ve been very different. As it turned out, the script rejected by Chiru turned out to be a blockbuster of the highest order.
