We all know that veteran director Mani Ratnam is not someone who can be easily deterred. After he had to drop the much talked multi-starrer film featuring Mahesh and Nag, he is now in talks with Chiru. This news was confirmed by his wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam who also said that the Mahesh-Nag film didn’t work out due to issues with shooting dates regarding the star cast. Suhasini, reportedly, arranged a meeting for her husband with Chiru at his home in Hyderabad and the couple then flew down there. It is heard that Mani narrated two scripts, one of them is for Chiru’s 150th film but Chiru reportedly denied the proposal. However, Chiru gave his nod for the other script for Ram Charan, which is supposed to have Mahesh-Nag initially. Sources say that Allu Arjun’s name also came up during the script narration for this multi starrer flick.
Ram Charan has pinned his hopes to reach the family audience through his next in Krishna Vamsi’s direction ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’. Now, if Mani Ratnam’s project also materializes, that would surely cause a big worry to his fans as, while both the directors are popular, but both have not been in form lately. Let’s wait and see if this film goes to floors.
