Chiru-Pawan Failing to Attract Youth!

It is raining remakes in Tollywood and the biggest stars like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are safely choosing these films. Seeing this, a huge section of mega fans are quite frustrated and want these big stars to try something original.

Chiranjeevi made his comeback into films with Khaidi 150 which was the remake of Vijay’s Kaththi. Now, he is doing three films and out of them, Godfather is the remake of Lucifer(Malayalam) and Bholaa Shankar is the remake of Vedalam(Tamil).

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan’s last several films, Katamarayudu (Tamil Veeram remake), Agnyaathavaasi (freemake of Fench film), Vakeel Saab Pink (Hindi) and Bheemla Nayak (Ayyapanum Koshiyum (Malayalam) are remakes.

Seeing the lineup of these two mega stars, it is quite clear that as they did not get proper scripts, they have opted to safely do the remakes and play characters which suit their age and yet showcase them in a mass manner.

But in all this, the younger audience is not at all getting connected to them. Firstly, the youth is well versed with so much content on OTT that most of them have watched the originals already.

Though Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have a huge fan base, an entire generation of youth is getting disconnected to these films and the stars as they are not attempting anything original. Pawan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Chiru’s film with Bobby are the only original scripts.
