Cinepolis to invest big in 2 Telugu states

Cinépolis is already a big name in the movie scene in India. But the company is looking to up its game and has planned to invest a large sum of over eight hundred crore expand its business in India. While originally, the business had 84 screens in 13 cities, it is planning on raising this number to 400 by the end of 2017. In this regard, the CEO of the company, Alejandro Ramirez Magana, has said that this expansion will increase the seating capacity from a substantial 17,600 to an unbelievable 88000. Moreover, the setting up of each screen is likely to cost around 2.5 crore and the expansion will bring Cinepolis to cities like Kochi and Vijayawada as well.

Moreover, reports state that the multiplex chain will add around 70 new screens in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region as well.
