Central Board of Film Certification Chair Person, Leela Samsan had decided to clarify the confusion on the censoring of item numbers. She rubbished the news of a new rule which gives A certificate to all the movies with item numbers. She made it clear that the films will be certified on the basis of the vulgarity in them. So, with this announcement, film makers can breath in some air.
Few days ago there was a news that CBFC has decided to give ‘A‘ certificate to all movies of all Indian languages, which have item songs. And it is also told that these item songs need to be deleted while the movie is telecast on TV channels as only family viewable content is allowed on small screen.
