Clarity About Latest Direct OTT Release In Telugu

Good Luck Sakhi headlined by Keerthy Suresh has been making news with rumours afloat that the film is heading for release on OTT like some of the recent Telugu films. It was reported that the team is in advanced talks with Zee5 and will have the release on the digital space soon.

However, Good Luck Sakhi team has now issued clarity on the same with putting down the rumours to rest. Producer Sudheer Chandra issued a statement where he asked a section of the media (not in M9.news) to refrain from spreading such news. He added that very soon they would come with an update until then requested to stay and stay safe.

Good Luck Sakhi was supposed to hit the screen on June 3. However, the pandemic acted as a spoiler and halted the release. Also starring Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Rahul Ramakrishna, the film is directed by noted personality, Nagesh Kukunoor.

Of late, Keerthy Suresh has been choosing to experiment with lady-oriented scripts. Good Luck Sakhi is her third women-centric film. Her last two women-centric films were Penguin and Miss India. Both the films had an OTT way but stood as a dud. It is to be seen how this film emerges.
