Popular Tamil comedian Santhanam who started doing lead roles recently irked versatile actor Kamal Haasan. Kamal was invited as a chief guest for Santhanam’s ‘Vaaliba Raja’ audio release event but the latter himself wasn’t present at the launch and this has irritated Kamal. Comedians get the flexibility of skipping the audio release events but in this case Santhanam was expected at the event since the comedian had invited Kamal in person to attend the audio launch and he plays the lead role in the film.
Apparently Kamal conveyed through his people to Santhanam that he is heading in the wrong direction. Sources say that Santhanam had called Kamal from Hyderabad and tried to explain that had already allotted dates for Rajnikanth’s Lingaa in Hyderabad and could not afford to miss it, but it is said that Kamal did not buy in to his explanation.
