Confirmed: Neel Not Affected By Devara

The other day, the makers of Devara announced that the scale and the canvas of the film demands it to be made in two parts. The same was announced by the director of the film Koratala Siva.

Amidst the announcement of Devara 2, there have been reports about how NTR’s film with Prashanth Neel could get affected with regard to the commencement of the shoot.

However, the latest update from the makers of NTR-Neel film confirms that the film will commence the shoot from April, 2024. Meaning, Devara sequel will not hit the floors immediately and it will be pushed to later.

NTR will instead work on War 2 and Neel’s film before starting Devara 2. The film with Neel would commence the shoot next April and it will be prepared for release before Devara 2.

Needless to say, the film with Neel is a fan-pleasing one and a lot is at stake with this film. It is nice to hear that this project is not getting postponed any further due to Devara two-part plan.

As mentioned earlier, NTR is breaking the trend of sequels coming right after the first part – as is seen in the case of Baahubali, Pushpa, and KGF franchises. Devara 2 will release only after NTR has at least two other releases.
