Tamil actor Rajkiran has been roped in (we broke this news on 16th) for the upcoming multistarrer in Telugu cinema featuring Ram Charan and Venkatesh. People of Andhra Pradesh might remember the actor for his role as father of Vishal in Pandem Kodi. Also movie lovers might remember him from the film Muni as well where he played an important role.
Rajkiran will play the role of grandfather in the film which is rumored to be the story of three generations. Earlier yesteryears actor Krishna was expected to play this role but owning to the veteran actor’s health condition, the idea of his casting has been dropped. There were lots of options considered for this role but finally Rajkiran seems to have won the mandate of the makers.
Search is currently going on for leading ladies in the film opposite Ram Charan and Venkatesh. While a couple of names are doing the rounds for a long time, there doesn’t seem to be an official confirmation as yet. Bandla Ganesh, the producer and Krishna Vamsi the director are going through a number of names both established as well as newcomers for the coveted heroine roles in the movie. Let’s wait and see who those lucky ones are going to be eventually.
