After the release of the much-anticipated trailer for Coolie, the internet has been buzzing with theories suggesting that the film might explore time travel and science fiction. Fans and viewers quickly began decoding visuals and speculating that director Lokesh Kanagaraj could be venturing into a genre twist with this Rajinikanth-starrer. The conversation spread rapidly across social media, fueling even more curiosity about the film’s storyline.
However, Lokesh Kanagaraj recently addressed the speculation during a public event. He shared his excitement about seeing the audience’s reactions to Coolie once it hits theaters. Commenting on the trailer theories, he said that people are interpreting the film as sci-fi and time travel, but they are in for a surprise. This cryptic remark has only intensified the viral buzz around the film.
Some fans believe the director deliberately kept the trailer ambiguous to spark audience discussions and online engagement. They suggest that Coolie may belong to an entirely different genre than Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous works. His comment about surprising the audience further supports the idea that the film could defy current expectations and genre labels.
The level of speculation has added to the already massive anticipation for Coolie. With audiences now wondering whether the film is a sci-fi mystery, an action thriller, or something else entirely, the stakes have grown even higher. All eyes are on August 1 to see if Coolie lives up to the hype and delivers a blockbuster theatrical experience.
