Its demand is no old even now if you see these preparations for Durga Puja at Agartala in Tripura. The city is all in a festive mood with beautiful puja pandals and this Baahubali theme pandal stood as the main attraction there.

Netaji Play Forum Centre who is the organizer of one of the puja pandals in the city had the replica of Mahishmati from the film and also the carvings of the statues and events seen in the film. Including the two huge elephants that were seen while Devasena enters the pride city, many carvings will take you back to the memories of the film.

Explaining why they went with Baahubali theme, the organizers state that it was the local politicians and the citizens demand to make the pandals in the mirror image of the royalty that Rajamouli created in the film. That is the level of demand that Rajamouli’s creativity has over our country. Looks like Baahubali will never get old.
