Chandrasekhar Yeleti, known for his trendsetting films that often outpace Hollywood in concept, is now venturing into the world of OTT.
The director, renowned for films like Aite, Anukokunda Ok Roju, Okkadunnadu, Prayanam, Sahasam, Manamantha, and Check, is stepping into the digital space as a producer for ETV Win.
He is taking on the role of showrunner and producer, marking a significant shift in his creative journey.
Yeleti’s keen eye for innovative storytelling has been evident throughout his career. His 2007 film Okkadunnadu predated the 2012 Hollywood film Get the Gringo in concept.
Similarly, his 2005 film Anukokunda Ok Roju shared striking similarities with the 2009 Hollywood film Hangover.
However, Yeleti’s recent films, especially Check, turned out to be a complete dud, leading to a decline in his prominence in the Telugu industry.
Telugu OTT space is in dire need of good shows and series. Let’s hope Yeleti will make a solid comeback in the OTT space with his new and unique ideas that could make a significant impact.
