Decent Weekend For Jawaan

It was a decent weekend for Jawaan at the ticket counter in the two Telugu states. After a slow opening, the film just about held on the second day. The third was again closer to the first day, giving Jawaan respectable numbers.

The real test for Jawaan will start from today. In the past few months, there have been multiple examples of movies beginning slowly and then consolidating over the weekend. Post-weekend, those films couldn’t sustain, and many ended up being breakeven at best.

We have to see where Jawaan lands, as it has two open weeks without any serious threat. Jawaan stars Sai Dharam Tej in the lead whereas BVS Ravi directed it. Mehreen was part of the movie, and she added another weekend winner to her list.
