DevaDas Director’s Response to Negative Comments

Prior to ‘DevaDas‘ release, Nagarjuna made some negative comments on director Sriram Aditya calling him a lazy fellow (Check Here). He even gave an explanation for calling the director so. After the release, many felt that there isn’t much need for the senior hero to comment so negatively about an upcoming director.

During a post-release interaction, director Sriram Aditya was asked to respond on Nag’s comments. The director played it safe and said that those comments were made before Nag saw the final copy and after the Akkineni hero saw the product, he was the first one to congratulate the director and even told the response to the special screening for 30 people telling him that everybody stood up and clapped. He also clarified that he normally likes to take time for post-production as he loves that work and hence, it looks like taking things slow.

The director says that he is very happy with the response and even Nag is also as happy as others. One can understand the rationale behind the response given by the young director. He didn’t get offended by the senior’s comments and also didn’t talk anything negative about his comments, as well. That’s a good thing and his calmness will win him brownie points for his future endeavours.
