DevaDas Makers Missed Utilizing Crazy Beauty

Young guys, specially college-going boys are literally chanting Rashmika Mandanna’s name after her performance and cute looks in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and if ‘Devadas’ goes on to become another super hit movie, it will be a hattrick for the young girl who has become the latest craze in the Telugu Film Industry.

After a film like ‘Geetha Govindam’, she could have provided hype and boost to the advance bookings, especially the openings as the youth has gone crazy on her. However, going by the promo content, it’s clearly understood that she is underutilized so far. Looks like, the young actress has less screen time in the movie. There is no preference for her in the promotional material, as well.

This reminds us of Sai Pallavi who got a negligible and very routine role in Nani’s ‘MCA’ after the blockbuster movie ‘Fidaa’ when she became an overnight sensation and big craze among the youth. She was also underutilized and her craze diminished, eventually. However, Rashmika’s lineup of films is quite interesting and therefore, there wouldn’t be any such issue. Only that we hope she could have had a better screen space in ‘DevaDas‘, as well.
