Sequel Is Alive, But When Will NTR Come?

It has been one year since Devara released. At the time, it did not stand out as the strongest action film. But compared to recent releases, it now looks more solid and has gained some respect among audiences.

Discussions around a sequel to Devara have been constant. Every few months, doubts and theories resurface about whether the follow-up will actually happen. The talk never really goes away, keeping the film alive in conversation.

On the anniversary of Devara, the makers confirmed the sequel. They clearly stated that Devara 2 is on its way, adding fresh energy to the buzz around the franchise and giving fans something to look forward to.

The bigger question now is NTR’s availability. He already has major projects, including a film with Prashanth Neel. That one carries massive expectations and could shape his career in significant ways.

Another upcoming film with Trivikram, a mythological drama, is also lined up. With its long production timeline, it is expected to expand NTR’s stature even further and bring a new dimension to his filmography.

Given these projects, NTR’s priority seems to be strengthening his market and image. A sequel like Devara 2 might feel secondary in comparison to his other films that promise bigger challenges and wider reach.

The decision lies in his creative choices. Continuing the Devara world would give him a steady follow-up after RRR. But working with directors like Neel and Trivikram opens doors to bigger dreams and larger cinematic milestones.
