Devi Sri Prasad is taking a different approach to the music of his acting debut, Yellamma, with a focus on Indian folk traditions. The composer has brought together 100 folk artists from different parts of India at his studio to record traditional folk music and capture its original sound and emotions.

Directed by Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame, the film is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. The project marks Devi Sri Prasad’s debut as a lead actor, alongside his involvement in the film’s music.
The Yellamma title song is expected to be released soon, offering audiences an introduction to the film’s musical approach. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 5, 2027, in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
