Dhanush feels he’s no successor to Rajini

Actor Dhanush finds it baseless for people to compare his fame and talent with that of his iconic and legendary father-in-law, megastar Rajinikanth. He said that he has achieved not even one percent of what he (Rajinikanth) has and I feel there is no reason to compare me with the legend and icon that he is. He is the king, he is the god and he will always be the best.

Dhanush is married to Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya. While’s he’s a popular actor, not much is ever spoken about his looks or body, for that matter. But he doesn’t seem to care much about his looks even while he’s trying to build a career in Bollywood.

He says he’s in awe of Hindi film actors, who work hard to get six- and eight-pack abs. He feels It takes lot of hard work to achieve it. He has immense respect for those who have done that. He respects that, but he’s trying to explore the kind of fame he has, the kind of looks he has. He want to look his age and do characters that he can do now and not five years later. But if a script demands him to do that, he will be willing to do that.
