Dhanush Gets A Big Lifeline in Telugu

Tamil Hero, Dhanush has completed the shooting of his upcoming film with director Karthik Subbaraj. The movie is tentatively titled ‘D40’. YNOT Studios is joining hands with GA2 Pictures, the sister concern of Geetha Arts and UV Creations to release the movie in Telugu. The First Look and the Motion Poster of the film will be out on the 19th.

D40 is touted to be a gangster drama in which Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the female lead in the film with Joju George and Kalaiyarasan playing the supporting roles. The film has been extensively shot in London and the rural parts of Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Hero will reportedly be seen sporting different looks in the film.

The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and the music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan. Dhanush got the big break of his career in Telugu with Raghuvaran B.Tech but he could not capitalize on the movie success. His films are being dubbed into Telugu but lack of proper care and release here ensured that the advantage is completely lost.

With the support of GA2 Pictures and UV Creations, Dhanush is likely to get another chance to make it big in Telugu once again.
