The makers of the movie, Wunderbar Films Pvt. Ltd will suffer approximately Rs 15-20 crores if ‘Kaala‘ will not be released in Karnataka. So, Dhanush and Aishwarya Dhanush, the directors of the production company decided to knock the doors of Karnataka High Court seeking police protection for those theatres which screen ‘Kaala’.
The ban was imposed by KFCC is curtailing the freedom of expression under Article 19(1)(g) of the constitution. Meanwhile, actors like Vishal from Kollywood and Prakash Raj from Sandalwood are batting for ‘Kaala’ release in Karnataka. The film is all set to release in three languages aka Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on 7th June.
