Young Hero taking political Route!

After a couple of low scoring films in 2015, universal young hero Dhanush is now experimenting with a political film ‘Kodi’. The film’s shooting has begun officially and Dhanush is pretty excited for the film. Political subject is new for Dhanush and in Tamil Nadu, politics is like religion.

A political film at the juncture of his career can become be a turning point. But one doesn’t know, in what way? ‘Maari’ and ‘Thagamagan’ which didn’t work well couldn’t capture Dhanush’s in a different role. How different will be the political thriller ‘Kodi’?

Dorai Senthil Kumar, who worked with Dhanush for ‘Ethir Neechal’ is helming the project while Santosh Narayanan is scoring the music for the film, teaming up for a Dhanush’s film for the first time. Trisha and Shamilee are playing the female leads.
