It's fake, we didn't buy Premam

For a little while, the South Indian film industry was abuzz with news about Dhanush’s new project. Rumours said that Dhanush was about to remake the blockbuster “Premam” in Tamil with the hit actor Vijay Sethupathi and Hansika Motwani under the banner of his own company Wunderbar Films.

However, Dhanush has quashed all these rumours and made it clear that these claims have no truth and he does not own Tamil remake rights of Premam. This happened during a twitter chat with his fans where Dhanush was asked about the ongoing rumours and he refuted these claims. It is interesting to note that Dhanush and Vijay Sethupati have already had a superhit film together in the form of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

As for Dhanush’ current engagements, he is about to start work with director Durai Senthil Kumar next week in Pollachi on a Tamil project which has not yet been named even as he looks forward to the release of his Tamil film Thanga Magan.
