Dhanush has been in the film industry for almost 15 years, yet Telugu audience got their first brush of him with the film 3, thanks to the Kolaveri hype. Most of his hit films were earlier remade in Telugu which was another reason for his lack of exposure in Telugu.

Will he finally make a mark with Raghuvaran B Tech? Going by the way the film has taken the opening the trade is hoping that it might well be the case. The subject with its youthfulness and right banner value in the form of Sravanthi Movies have made audience come to theatre and connect with it and finally New Year holiday has given it a solid opening.

Dhanush is working with top directors in both Kollywood and Bollywood, if he gets a good foothold in Telugu, it would surely be an additional benefit for him wouldn’t it?
