Breaking! No Telugu Release Tomorrow for Dhurandhar 2

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge release in the Telugu states is facing continued confusion, and the latest update has come as a setback for fans. The breaking news is that the makers have decided to postpone the Telugu version once again. The film is now expected to release on March 21 (Saturday), even though it has already completed the censor process.

Earlier, there was hope that the Telugu version would start screening soon after the initial delays during premiere shows on Wednesday and release day March 19. The film has now received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification, with a runtime of around 3 hours and 50 minutes for the Telugu version. The censor process included routine changes like adding disclaimers, inserting Telugu warning visuals, correcting subtitles, and making minor dialogue adjustments.

Despite everything being ready, the team has chosen to delay the release further. Reports suggest the makers want extra time to ensure that all technical and distribution aspects are properly arranged before releasing the dubbed version in theatres.

These repeated delays have clearly frustrated audiences in the Telugu states. The situation is more sensitive because the first Dhurandhar film was not released in Telugu, which had created strong curiosity and excitement for the sequel. Many fans were waiting to watch the film in their own language, especially after hearing about the positive talk for the Hindi version.

However, the cancellations over the last two days and the ongoing uncertainty have affected the film’s momentum in this market. What was expected to be a smooth pan-India release has now turned into a case of poor planning and coordination. It can be said Jio Studios wasted huge potential of Telugu release by wasting the first two peak days.

All eyes are now on March 21. If there are no further delays, Telugu audiences in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will finally get to watch the film. For the makers, it is now very important to ensure a smooth release, as the film still has good potential in the Telugu market despite these delays.
