According to trade reports, studio executives at Jio Studios are keen to expand the franchise further and have reportedly encouraged Aditya Dhar to start developing Dhurandhar 3.

Sources suggest that the studio has even asked the filmmaker to consider adding a post-credit tease in Dhurandhar 2 to hint at the next chapter and maintain audience excitement.

However, it remains uncertain whether Aditya Dhar himself is fully on board with the idea.

The director has generally avoided formula-driven franchise filmmaking and prefers exploring new themes with each project. Industry insiders say that while Aditya Dhar may have a broad idea for a potential third part, he has not committed to turning it into a full-fledged film yet.
