Didn’t Get Negative Response from Them

Young director Venky Atluri thinks that some people liked his latest release ‘Mr Majnu’ and some didn’t like it. He said that the movie didn’t get any negative response from the common audiences and they are enjoying the comical and the emotional sequences. However, the audiences verdict is actually different.

On the opening day, there was a big ambiguity with regard to the box-office result of Akhil’s third movie as a hero and Venky Atluri’s second movie as a director, ‘Mr Majnu’. Now, the fate of the movie quite clear and it’s understood that Venky Atluri couldn’t overcome the second film sentiment like many other directors.

Both the output and the collections of the movie weren’t on the expected lines. Not only Venky Atluri, even Sankalp Reddy didn’t impress with his second outing ‘Antariksham’. He delivered a below par subject. There are numerous examples when this second film sentiment became completely true and directors didn’t prove that it was just a jinx.
