Dil Raju Locks His Hero Finally?

Earlier, we have brought you the update how Dil Raju was bowled over by Tamil film ’96’ that has won huge critical acclaim for the filmmaker and also the lead actors namely Trisha and Vijay Sethupathi. He bought the Telugu remake rights for the movie and was on the lookout for a hero who would fit the bill for playing the protagonist’s role.

Finally, the director has locked Sharwanand to get into Vijay Sethupathi‘s shoes. The emotions of the lead actors and their chemistry will be the high points in the narrative and hence, it is absolutely a good choice to finalize Sharwanand for this role that has a lot of scopes emote sans melodrama. We have to wait and see who would be the heroine to match Sharwanand. In the original, Trisha literally got into the skin of the character, didn’t enact but behaved the character.

Previously, we’ve heard that Allu Arjun and Gopichand were considered for playing the lead role in the movie. However, a star like Allu Arjun may not find this role suitable for his stardom and Gopichand had never done such subtle roles, so far. So, we’ve opined that they may not fit into the role. But, in the case of Sharwa, he has proved his mettle in subtle love stories as a performer.
