Dil Raju’s Dream Chance Shattered Unexpectedly

Dil Raju wanted to make a grand debut in Bollywood with Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey. The film had a lot going for it as it was the remake of the 2019 Telugu film by the same title, which was a super hit. The film had an emotional story that had universal appeal. Dil Raju was damn sure that Jersey would create a niche for his banner in Bollywood. But…

Jersey was scheduled to release on December 31st, 2021 but got postponed to April 14th due to omicron spread. But the doomed film again had to be postponed by one week because of the monster KGF 2, which was wreaking havoc at the Indian box office, and Jersey stood no chance.

Jersey is releasing this week, but there is zero hype about it among the audience as the KGF fever hasn’t subsided, and it won’t for another few weeks.

Trade experts believe that it will be nothing short of a miracle if Jersey gets a double-digit opening on its first day.

Jersey is co-produced by Allu Aravind as well, who was looking to make a solid comeback in Bollywood with Jersey. But it is being speculated that even his dreams might get shattered due to the unexpected thunder called KGF. He has already suffered one jolt with Ghani, and now Jersey also seems to be going the same way, unfortunately.
