“I know all the stories of Vinayak”

The equation between director Dasaradh and Vinayak is like more than professional says Dasaradh. The two have been friends since their struggling days and Dasaradh maintains that friendship and also a kind of respect for the directorial skills of Vinayak.

Dasaradh says the duo discuss their scripts and keep in regular touch with each other. That’s how he knows all the stories of Vinayak. Likewise, he knew the first half of Akhil’s story. But since Akhil’s movie was mostly shot outside India, he didn’t get to hear the second part.

On what went wrong with ‘Akhil’, Dasaradh says, ‘No one is God here. We make a movie believing that it would be a super hit. That doesn’t mean, the story liked by four people working for a movie should be liked by a crore.’ Well said! Dasaradh seems to be in awe of his friend Vinayak for his conviction.
