Director gets threats of beheading if film released

Whenever a filmmaker touches a sensitive subject there is always a fear of hurting the sentiments of people. And the reaction these hurt people show are not always going to be pleasant for the team involved in making the film.

We have recently seen how a biggie was threatened to be removed from screening with goons literally vandalizing the cinema properties at few places. If that is the case with a biggie imagine how it would be for a small relatively obscure film?

The director of soon to be released film Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho was threatened by a body that his head would be beheaded if he goes ahead with the release. The film is based on a real story where a guy is directed to be married to a buffalo following charges of raping it. The making of the film has hurt the people who gave such order in first place.
