‘Alaa Modalyyindi’ made Nandini Reddy one of the successful female directors in Telugu Film Industry but her next ‘Jabardast’ turned out to be a super flop. Nandini reveals that she wasn’t supposed to do ‘Jabardast’ at that time. Actually she wanted to do Kalyana Vaibhogame’ with Siddharth and Samantha.

But they have rejected it and she had to do ‘Jabardast’ with them. Because of influence she chose to do the remake instead of her straight movie. She says she was afraid to lose her success and hence had to bow to others’. Only of she had listened to her gut feeling?

Now Nandini Reddy made ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’ with Naga Shourya and Malavika Nair which is getting ready for release soon. Will Naga Shourya get a superhit like Nani got for ‘Ala Modalayyindi’? Will Nandini bounce back with this movie? The wait isn’t long though. Wish, her third movie gives her a big success.
