Trailer Talk: Too Painful to Remind Horrific Reality

The trailer of RGV’s next movie ‘Disha Encounter‘ was nothing but yet another replay of the horrific rape incident that shook the entire nation crying over how there has been growth in the number of incidents of rape.

We’ve seen this kind of replay in several media channels where they used graphics to depict how exactly the incident might have probably happened. So, there was nothing new or nothing to tell in a different way.

However, it was painful to watch that again in the trailer as it gives a feeling that RGV should have tried something like analysing the mindsets of spoilt youth instead of unnecessary glorification of the horrific rape incident.

We expect a different kind of story-telling from RGV, at least with regard to this story. But, let’s wait and see if that’s possible because the filmmaker has taken a different route altogether, nowadays.
