Do Telugu Filmmakers Need Nayanthara That Much?

Being called the lady superstar in Tamil industry, looks like she Nayanthara is forcing the brand on the Telugu industry too in terms of remuneration and the careless attitude which is clearly proven with her involvement in Sye Raa promotions and how she handled the project despite being one of the lead cast of the film.

She doesn’t care how big the film is or how gigantic the budget is, neither if the casting is huge which is what she did for Sye Raa. The actress didn’t take that effort to join Chiru for promotions even when he went to Chennai for it. Tamannah went along everywhere with the team for promotions and even her performance was talked about a lot after the release but there was no mention about Nayanthara’s and the irony is that she was apparently paid an expensive remuneration of 6 crores for the tiny role in the film.

So why is that the Sye Raa makers had to bow to all her huge demands and attitude? Are Telugu makers so very deprived of heroines who can fill the sort of role that she played? Not really.
