Does a movie failure help another?

Yesterday, we have published a story that Attarintiki Daredi collections improved in its third week and is more than its second week collections. While there is no exact conclusion why this happened, few trade analysts tried to reason it. They say that bad talk for Ramayya Vasthvayya helped Attarintiki Daredi in its third week. Both the movies came after a big vacuum at the box office due to Seemandhra agitations. There are not many movies round the corner and hence audience opted to Attarintiki Daredi after Ramayya Vasthavayya’s disappointing talk.

Analysts are also of the opinion that the Thank You function helped the movie a lot. Pawan Kalyan speech at the event stirred emotions in the fans and increased the repeat value of the movie to some extent. The movie is now one step behind Magadheera which is the top of biggest grosser movies.
